Natural Viagra: Foods that Increase Sex Drive – Part 2

In another article I wrote on the same topic, I mentioned five different foods that increase sex drive. You can find the link to that article at the bottom of this one. Today I will add a list of five more foods that increase libido, and that can help you gain your bedroom mojo back.

Asparagus

Asparagus contains a high level of vitamin E, which stimulates the production of testosterone. Testosterone is a critical sex hormone that plays a key role in a man’s sex life. The higher your testosterone level, the higher your libido. However, make no mistake, asparagus is not recommended just for men. This vegetable is known to increase sex drive in women as well.

Figs

If you do not know what figs are, I would highly encourage you to get more familiar with them for the following reason: besides being highly tasty, figs are rich in amino acids, which are purported to increase libido. Studies have also reported that figs increase sexual stamina, in addition to libido.

Sweet Basil

Sweet basil herb is known across cultures to naturally increase sex drive by fostering a feeling of total relaxation in the body and the muscles. Thanks to this property, sweet basil has also been linked to an increase in women fertility, since the body has a far better chance of reproducing when the woman is fully relaxed.

To increase your libido, simply include the sweet basil herb in your food. Remember that the flavor of the sweet basil herb can be pretty strong, so you don’t have to include it in your meal on a daily basis; a couple of times per week should be just fine.

Eggs

Eggs are extremely great sources of vitamins B5 and B6, both of which help combat stress. Also, they contribute to an overall hormonal balance in the body. A high stress and an unbalanced hormone level, are both recipes for a poor sex drive. Therefore, to increase libido, make sure you consume more eggs.

Salmon

I’ve mentioned before that an increase in blood flow is intimately connected to an increase in sex drive. This is true because the easier the blood flows down there, the harder a man’s erection is, and the more stimulated a woman’s vaginal walls are. To improve your blood flow and increase libido, make sure to eat more salmon. Salmon is very rich in omega-3 fatty acids, which notably improve blood circulation.
