Burning out

Usually when we get tired, we try to compensate it with overeating. This should not be the case. The source of your overeating is not hunger. Instead, your tiredness can be explained by your lack of sleep. One should have between six to eight hours of sleep

Eating too fast

Do you have a habit of wolfing down your food? Do you finish your meal in less than 5 minutes no matter its size? If you are finishing your food too fast, then you are at the risk of overeating.

Remember to eat your food slowly, while enjoying every bit of it. Train yourself to chew your food properly and put the spoon down after every bite. Hydrate often

When you are short of fluids, you tend to feel dehydrated, which in turn can cause you to overeat. Keep on sipping water throughout the day. In addition, have a glass of water before every meal. This will give you the feeling of fullness, and prevent you from overeating.
