That’s where detoxing comes in.
There are several ways to detox your body: natural detox drinks for instance, are one way you can cleanse your system. However, regardless of the form of detox you choose, remember to first consult with your physician for prior assessment. So without further ado, the following are 2 natural detox drinks you can easily make at home.
Natural Detox Drink #1: Lemonade
Lemon contains a high level of ascorbic acid, which aids in the process of body detoxing. Lemonade is a common go-to natural detox drink probably because it was the staple beverage of Stanley Burroughs’s Master Cleanse. For those who do not know, Stanley Burroughs was the inventor of the lemonade diet Master Cleanse.
In any event, the lemonade detox diet is very easy to make. Mix 2 tablespoons of squeezed lemon juice with 1/10th teaspoon of cayenne pepper and 2 tablespoons of maple syrup; all in 8 oz of water. That’s it! You have a potent natural detox drink in your hand! To make it an effective detox process, drink at between six to eight glasses of this lemonade all day. The days of your cleanse, you will eat nothing else
Natural Detox Drink #2: Dandelion Tea
You may not have ever heard of dandelion tea before. If so, rush to your local farmers market and get some, because they make excellent natural detox teas. This is because dandelion is packed with vitamin A, iron, potassium and calcium. As such, dandelion detox tea is a diuretic that helps rid your liver of toxins.
To be an effective natural detox drink, brew 6 tablespoons of a one-year-old dandelion (ensured it’s dried), with 12 tablespoons of fresh dandelion leaves. Dip it into four cups of purified, boiling water.
Alternatively, you can also add two teaspoons of crushed dandelion leaves to a cup of boiling water, and let it brew for approximately 10 minutes.
Good Luck with your detoxing efforts, and remember, a clean body translates into a clean mind, and a longer lifespan!
